Duties:

  • Cutting, shaping and dressing materials
  • Lifting, carrying and placing prepared blocks
  • Mixing mortar and cement
  • Assist in creating a safe work environment by inspecting equipment, using required PPE, and keeping areas clear of debris

Duties:

  • Assemble wood and/or steel construction components in a productive and accurate manner
  • Read and interpret basic measurements to measure, mark, cut to specifications using hand tools, machines, or power saws
  • Assist in creating a safe work environment by inspecting equipment, using required PPE, and keeping areas clear of debris
  • Perform additional duties as directed

Duties:

  • Assist in completing tasks in the area of carpentry, masonry, or concrete
  • Building scaffolding
  • Assist in creating a safe work environment by inspecting equipment, using required PPE, and keeping areas clear of debris

Requirements:

  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member
  • Knowledge of commercial construction industry
  • Ability to use a variety of different tools to complete assigned tasks
  • Willingness to travel

Duties:

  • Manage administration of company benefits including health/dental/life/STD/LTD insurance enrollment, STD/LTD claims resolution, COBRA, FMLA, 401K/flex plan enrollment, unemployment claims and appeals
  • Maintain Human Resources information system records, EE personnel records and compile internal and external reports from the database; complete audits in HRIS
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
  • Perform weekly payroll processing and associated reporting
  • Coordinate and participated in community outreach programs
  • Provide oversight and coordination of all administrative personnel, with direct leadership of front desk staff
  • Provide coaching and conflict resolution between managers and employees
  • Perform additional duties as directed

Requirements:

  • 4-year degree in Human Resources, business, or equivalent
  • SHRM — CP or PHR designation preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ related Human Resource experience
  • Proven knowledge of established Human Resources practices and principles
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communications skills
  • Proven experience with online HR systems
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously and with minimal supervision
  • Respect for confidentiality
  • Experience in the construction industry is preferred but not required

Duties:

  • Provide administrative support to the executive team
  • Preparing and finalizing client materials, including budgets, proposals, and contracts
  • Company communication both internally & externally
  • Marketing assistance
  • Various other corporate administrative duties

Requirements:

  • Compensation will be based on experience
  • Minimum 1 years related administrative assistant experience
  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • Capable of learning to use industry-specific software
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communications skills

Building Strong Communities

OFFICE

Based at our main headquarters in Plain, WI is a full-time staff of 34, consisting of executive management, project managers, client services, accounting staff, human resources, information technology, office management, and support staff.

YARD

There are 11 full-time workers in our equipment and distribution center, also in Plain. These specialists oversee heavy equipment mechanics, metal fabrication, carpentry, equipment management, and transportation.

FIELD

Kraemer Brothers typically employs approximately 300 personnel in the field, including project superintendents, field engineers, and various supervisors and laborers in our self-performed trades of concrete, steel erection, masonry, and carpentry.

Training

Whether it be our four-part, Foundations Safety Orientation Program, trade association safety seminars, OSHA compliance, or leadership training, Kraemer Brothers firmly believes an employee’s knowledge base is the biggest driver of behavior in the field. Giving each employee the tools to identify and correct hazards without engaging a safety professional or management perpetuates a proactive safety culture.

Weekly toolbox talks are also provided every Monday morning by a field manager to begin the work week focusing on safety, showing our workforce that safety ultimately comes first.
